Ramen Recipes

Learn a little about Ramen Recipes...

Ramen has become the staple food for starving artists and college students. But just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean that Ramen can’t be tasty too. Below are some Ramen Recipes for you to try.

Ham & Garden Vegetables

3 packages Ramen
6-8 cups of water
1 lb. of cooked, shelled small shrimp (or 2 cups of chicken or diced ham)
1 lb. fresh bean sprouts
2 medium cucumbers thinly sliced
3 hard-boiled eggs sliced
1 lemon cut in wedges (if using shrimp)
2 medium onions
1 medium carrot thinly sliced
1/2 cup finely chopped celerySuper Vinegar Sauce (recipe follows).

Bring water to a boil, add noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water until noodles no longer stick to each other. Divide noodles into 6 equal portions, and place on top of lettuce leaves in large shallow bowls, or on plates. Distribute bean sprouts over noodles, and then arrange shrimp or meat, cucumber, egg, onions, carrots, celery and lemon, if used, on top. Use Super Vinegar Sauce for dressing.

Super Vinegar Sauce: Dissolve soup base in 3/4 cup water. Add 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. sugar, and 2/3 cup vinegar. Combine well and serve with salad.

Ham & Garden Vegetables Ramen Recipe

2 packages of Ramen Pork
1/2 cup cubed yellow crookneck squash
1/2 cup snow pea pods or green beans
1/2 cup cubed red or green pepper
1 cup fried cubed ham.

Cook noodles 3 minutes in 4 cups boiling water with squash, pea pods, peppers and soup bases. Do not drain. Stir in ham. Ladle into bowls. Serves 4.

Noodle Alfredo Ramen Recipe

2 packages of Ramen any flavor
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup half & half
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp. chopped parsley.

Cook noodles 3 minutes in 4 cups boiling water with one soup base. Heat butter and cream in medium saucepan over low heat until butter is melted. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Stir noodles and parsley into sauce. Reheat slowly. Serves 4.

Spicy Egg Drop Soup Ramen Recipe

2 packages of Ramen any flavor
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. Red pepper
1 egg, beaten

Cook noodles 3 minutes in 4 cups boiling water with garlic and red pepper. Remove from heat and add the egg, stirring vigorously. Ladle into bowls. Serves 4.

Chinese Omelets Ramen Recipe

2 packages of Ramen any flavor
4 eggs
3 scallions, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup water
½ tbls.

Cornstarch Cook noodles 3 minutes in 4 cups boiling water without soup base. Drain. Add eggs, scallions and garlic to noodles. Mix thoroughly. Spoon into a hot skillet to create fist size pancakes. Cook on one side and flip. Bring 1 cup water to boil. Add soup base and cornstarch. Wisk until thick and smooth. Serve sauce over noodle omelets.
