Actually, according to Feng Shui, your front door is a crucial part of achieving the proper energy and balance within your home. It is thought that a well-placed, well-kept front door will encourage health and wealth, two things we could all use more of.

- Make sure your front door is well hinged and upright. If the frame is weak, your finances will be negatively affected.

- Your front door shouldn’t face into an alley. This will cause financial losses.
- Your front door should not face a holy spot, either a place of worship or a burial place. This can cause the lost spirits that frequent these places to become lost in your house.
- Your front door should be on either the left hand side or center of the house to encourage positive energy inside your home.
