So it’s the big night. First date, first kiss, first, well whatever, or maybe you just want to make her feel special. Which ever one of these it is, you want to impress the girl, right.

Another way to impress a girl is to pay attention to her and I don’t just mean while you are on a date. Pay attention to the details and desires of her life. What’s her favorite band, ice cream, or any other of a million things about her? See how many things you can figure out about her with out straight forward asking. Then, after you have gained a little bit of knowledge about her, surprise her. Get her a bootleg of the band that she loves, bring her a pint of her favorite ice cream. Show her that you pay attention to her, all of her.
You can also impress a girl by minding your manners, and I don’t mean just your P & Qs. Remember way back in your foggy memory your mother saying something about how to treat a lady. You need to remember those things. Get the door for your girl, all doors, car door, store door, restaurant door. She should not go through a door without you standing next to it holding it open so that she can enter first. Pull out her chair, help her with her coat, stand when she goes to get up from the table or leave the room. While the feminist movement has turned a few women into intolerant pains, most girls (and women) are still impressed by this display of old fashion respect.
Of course, these are not all the ways out there that you can impress a girl but it is a good start. The ability to impress a girl is not as elusive as it might seem. It just takes a little bit of considerate thought.
